Use it to open up dynamic range, reduce background noise, and revive transients on drums, vocals, guitars, or your mix bus. Core features include a vintage-modeled expander with musical response, real-time visual meters, sidechain and mid side processing, and ready-to-use presets for fast results. How to use:1. Download and install the plugin in the correct format for your system, then restart your DAW to load it.
2. Insert Type X on a track or bus you want to clarify, such as drums, vocals, guitars, or the stereo mix.
3. Select a preset to get started, press play, and watch the input, output, and gain reduction meters.
4. Lower the Threshold to set where expansion begins, adjust Ratio for strength, and fine tune Attack and Release for punch or smoothness.
5. Enable Sidechain or Mid Side if needed, blend with the Mix control for subtle parallel processing, then save your preset and export your mix.
